CIRCUIT RIDER GRANT APPLICATION

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POCOMOKE CITY, MARYLAND IS AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF A MARYLAND CIRCUIT RIDER APPLICATION

The State of Maryland through the Department of Housing and Community Development has solicited applications from eligible jurisdictions to apply for funding under the Town Manager/Circuit Rider Program. The proposed project is consistent with the local community development plan described in the application.  Circuit Rider individual will work approximately 20 hours per week, in each town, for a period of one year. Goals are as follows: 1. Researching various federal and state grant opportunities that align with desired planning and infrastructure projects. 2. Developing grant applications and managing grant awards. 3. Providing an enhanced level of administrative capacity to City Hall. 4. This position will be shared with the City of Crisfield.
