Friendly Reminders for Regular and Bulk Trash Pick Up in Pocomoke City

The daily trash collection schedule is east of Market St. (Tues. & Fri.); west of Market St. (Mon. & Thurs.). Daily trash pickup changes during Holiday closings will be printed on the monthly water bills and is posted on the holiday schedule for the year below. Trash Collection Schedule: Trash must be placed at the curbside by 7:00 a.m. on collection days. If you have questions regarding the trash or bulk trash pick up schedule, please call City Hall at 410-957-2521.

Normal Schedule is: Bulk Trash Day is normally the second Wednesday of each month.

Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF) Grants Pocomoke City Funding for Lift Stations, Posted 2/8/2021

In the FY of 2021, The Rural Maryland Council (RMC) Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF) granted Pocomoke City $150,000.00 to assist Pocomoke City with Pre-Construction/Engineering cost to prepare for the replacement of four (4) pump stations on Payne Avenue, Cedar Street, Dorchester Avenue and 10th & Market Street.
