A Picture Worth A Thousand Words-An Epic Moment

Pocomoke City Councilmembers organized a swearing in ceremony that rivals no other. It consisted of ceremony introduction by Councilmember Esther Troast, colors presented by Pocomoke City Police Department, special guest speaker, Worcester County Sheriff Matt Crisafulli, opening prayer by Rev. Jermaine C. Scott of New Macedonia Baptist Church, Councilmember Diane Downing presenting a City Proclamation formally declaring February 7th as Chief M. Lee Brumley Day in Pocomoke City, a swearing-in prayer by Rev./Councilmember George Tasker and the oath delivered by Chief Brumley’s long-time friend and fellow Sheriff/Councilmember Dale Trotter and welcoming words  from City Manager Bobby Cowger.
