Mayor & Council Meetings

The City Manager or the City Clerk must be notified of pending agenda items by Wednesday of the preceding week of the scheduled Mayor & Council meeting.  All documentation must accompany the agenda request.

Meetings of the Mayor & City Council are routinely held at 6:30 PM on the first and third Mondays of each month at City Hall, 101 Clarke Avenue, Pocomoke City, Maryland.  The meeting dates are subject to change due to holidays or other events.  Work Sessions and Closed Sessions are held on an "as needed" basis.  Agendas are posted in advance of all meetings.

2. Reading of Closed Statement:
   The purpose of the Closed Session is pursuant to General Provisions Article § 3-305(b)(7) to receive Legal Advice on procedural process for the issuance and rescission of Zoning Permits and General Provisions Article § 3-305(b)(8) to discuss possible litigation with staff consultants and other individuals as it relates to 132 Market Street and 204-206 Clarke Avenue.
